Dress Code

Please reference the Details tab for dress code information for each event.

What is semi-formal dress code?

Kicking off our wedding weekend with our Welcome Dinner.

  • Ladies are invited to wear mini, midi, or maxi dresses, whatever you feel most confident in. Alternatively, dressy pants or a skirt with a blouse are also acceptable. Dinner will be on the terrace, so feel free to wear heels if you wish.
  • Gentlemen can wear trousers with a blazer or suit. A tie is not required.

What is black tie optional dress code?

We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us.

  • Ladies should wear floor-length or tea-length dresses in any color you wish, just not white. The ceremony will be on artificial grass and there is a short walk to the reception area, so make sure you're in comfortable heels.
  • Gentlemen should wear a formal suit and tie or a tuxedo.

What is Napa casual dress code?

  • Ladies are encouraged to keep it light and relaxed. We recommend a sundress or linen set. Think summer picnic date. Sandals or flat shoes are recommended.
  • Gentlemen can wear a polo or button-down shirt paired with chinos or jeans, along with casual loafers or clean sneakers.

Will the Welcome Dinner be outdoors?

The welcome dinner will be outdoors on the restaurant terrace.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. Don't forget your sunglasses, it should be California sunny.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Stanly Ranch. There is a short walk from the ceremony to the reception area.

Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Shuttle to and from Stanly Ranch will be available. Shuttle pickup will be at Hotel Yountville at 4:30 PM, with return service after the wedding dinner concludes.

Guests are responsible for all other transportation. Ubers are readily available within the Napa area.

Can I take photos during the ceremony and reception?

We kindly as our guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony - we will be having an unplugged ceremony.

Photos are encouraged prior to the ceremony and during cocktail hour / dinner. We can't wait to see them!

What will the weather be like?

June in Napa is typically sunny, dry, and warm. Daytime highs are normally in the upper 70s to low 80s. Don't forget your sunglasses!

Be sure to pack some layers for the evening, as temperatures can drop to the mid 50s.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the intimate nature of the weekend, only guests addressed on the invitation are invited.

Secondary Party

As if we aren't going to have the best time ever in Napa, we're going to keep the celebration going back in PA.

Stay tuned for an invite to a Happily Ever After Party to celebrate with more friends and family.

Where can I find your registry?

Your presence is our gift.

We know traveling for a destination wedding is a significant commitment. We are so grateful you're making the trip to celebrate with us. We kindly request no gifts. Just bring yourself and be ready for some wine.
